Are you one of the people who keeps buying the latest ab workout machines on TV? I don’t know why these things are so popular. I guess the clever informercials convince people that these things make exercising fun.
I guess some of these machines could make exercising more fun. The first wall people run into is that any exercise still requires discipline. This is applicable to pretty much any fitness machines that you use. And we all know most people severely lack exercise discipline.
This is why ab workout machines are more often found in the backyard or in the attic gathering dust than they are found in home gyms. People buy into the results they might get. You know, they want to look like those ripped models advertising the thing, and they want to do so with just 10 minutes a day! Of course they don’t tell you about the changes you have to make to your diet to get results.
We all know it doesn’t work like that in the real world. Before long another new and improved fitness machine will appear on the TV. Guess what happens? Out with the old, in with the new. Just like with fad diets, people just bounce from one machine to the next.
Simple advice: leave the machines to gather dust and find yourself a proper ab exercise routine. If you cannot stick to a normal workout, you’re probably not going to stick to a regular schedule with some machine.
Nothing beats patience and discipline when you’re trying to get great abs. Results won’t come overnight, and they won’t come easy. Accept that and get serious about your ab exercise routine. Don’t bother with abs machines, you’ll achieve at best mediocre results.
Find the best abdominal exercises, and really dig into them. You don’t need to do it every single day. Work out a routine for just 3 days a week. Then stick to it. That’s the way to achieve results.
