Derma Roller – How It Works

When the derma roller is rolled over the skin, it creates tiny little punctures into the upper dermis of the skin which signals to the body that it should begin a wound healing process. This means it starts to increase production of collagen fibers, skin cells, and elastin. This helps to fill in scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks. In fact, the derma roller is considered one of the best acne scar treatment you can perform at home.

Also, it allows for increased absorption of your favorite anti-aging creams. Every time you use the derma roller, it causes new collagen and elastin to form thereby reducing the appearance of stretch marks, scars, and wrinkles. This is one of the best home remedies for face wrinkles on the market. It was nice to see a product review that really worked and was based on science.

Finally, the Derma Roller for skin rejuvenation doesn’t cause damage to the skin unlike other methods for scar removal and wrinkle reduction. Most typical skin rejuvenation techniques, like laser and chemical peels cause extensive damage to the skin, require a few weeks of healing and downtime and increased sun sensitivity.
